Loranger Band Performs at Four Bob Marley Show’s at Merrill Auditorium!
A BIG and hearty congratulations goes to the LMS 6-8 Marching Band who performed along side of professional comedians and entertainers at four Bob Marly Shows held during the winter break! The amazing thing is this all took place with just a few days notice as well as happening the day after Christmas. I am pleased and proud to report that there was a high of 80% participation! Performing at these shows was a once in a life time opportunity. Bob Marley’s production staff made it very clear that they hired the right band for the job. It was stressful, exhausting, but certainly very memorable and fun! The kids handled it like pros, receiving rave reviews! Special thanks to all of those who helped make this special event happen: several parents and friends who chaperoned and took care of us - bus drivers Dana and Becky - Mr. Turcotte, Mr. Crocker, and Mr. Kelly who made supported our efforts – Mr. and Mrs. Scott MacDonald for transporting equipment – Mr. Diette for his patience and hard work.
